Ingredients
500g (3 + 1/3 cups) bread flour
5g (1 tsp) salt
5g (2 tsp) active dry yeast
375-400ml water (start with 375ml and add more if needed)
30g (2 tbsp) olive oil
Instructions 1. Activate the yeast:
Dissolve the active dry yeast in 100ml of warm water (for a total of 375-400ml) in a small bowl.
Let stand for about 5 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy. 2. Mix the dough:
Combine the bread flour and salt in a large bowl.
Add the yeast mixture, remaining water, and olive oil to the flour mixture.
Continue mixing until you have a sticky dough. If the dough is too dry, add a little water until you reach the desired consistency.
