Strawberry Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker with 700g Strawberries & 500g Cream

300g sweetened condensed milk
500g cream
700g strawberries
1 tbsp sugar
Preparation
First, wash the strawberries and dry them on a kitchen towel. Remove the stems and halve the strawberries.

Now, mix the strawberries with the sugar in a baking dish. Then, preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F).

Next, place the dish in the oven (middle rack) and roast the strawberries for 60 minutes. Stir after 30 minutes.

The strawberries are done when the juice has reduced to a thick syrup. Transfer the strawberries to a blender and purée them with an immersion blender until smooth.

Now, transfer the strawberry purée to a mixing bowl and let it cool. Then chill completely in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Now add the condensed milk to the strawberries and whisk with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
