Easy Homemade Bread Recipe – No Kneading!
There’s nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread at home! This easy recipe requires no kneading, just a few ingredients and a little patience. The crust is crispy and the inside is soft and fluffy!
Ready to bake in less than 5 minutes of active work!
Ingredients (1 loaf):
500 g wheat flour (550 or 750 bread flour)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar (optional, for better rising)
7 g dry yeast or 25 g fresh yeast
350 ml warm water
Optional:
1 tbsp olive oil for a smooth dough
Seeds (e.g. flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds) for sprinkling
Preparation:
1. Prepare the dough
Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add the yeast (if using fresh yeast, dissolve it in water first).
Gradually pour in the warm water, stirring with a spoon or spatula.
Once the ingredients are mixed, cover the dough with plastic wrap or a cloth and let it rest at room temperature for 12–16 hours.
Tip: You can let the dough rest overnight – it will be ready to bake in the morning!
2. Shaping and second rising
After the dough has risen, place it on a floured surface.
