Baked Ribs with Homemade Barbecue Sauce

π Pork ribs: 1.2 kg π
π Onion: 2 pieces π§
π Potatoes: 4 medium π₯
π Olive oil: 3 tablespoons π«
π Salt and pepper: to taste π§π€
π Smoked paprika: 1 teaspoon πΆοΈ
π Garlic: 3 cloves π§
π Fresh thyme: a few sprigs πΏ
π₯ Homemade BBQ sauce:
π Ketchup: 150 ml π
π Honey: 2 tablespoons π―
π Mustard: 1 tablespoon π
π Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons π₯’
π Apple cider vinegar: 1 tablespoon π
π Worcestershire sauce: 1 tablespoon π₯
π Smoked paprika: 1 teaspoon πΆοΈ
π Salt and pepper: to taste π§
β‘οΈ How to cook?
1οΈβ£ Prepare the ribs π β wash them, pat dry, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika and pressed garlic π§.
2οΈβ£ Prepare the BBQ sauce β combine the ketchup, honey, mustard, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and spices. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
