Place a layer of potatoes in the bottom of the dish.
Place a layer of chopped onion on top.
Place the chicken pieces on top of the onion and potatoes.
Repeat the layers as needed.
Pour the cream and egg mixture over the chicken and vegetables, making sure all ingredients are covered.
Preparation:
Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
Cutting:
Remove the foil and sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
If using tomatoes, cut them into slices and place on top.
Return the dish to the oven for a few minutes, until the cheese melts and is lightly browned. Preparation:
